How do I create a hanging indent in Word on my Works Cited page?

1.Place your cursor at the beginning of your second line, before any text

 2.Right click your mouse

 3.Select Paragraph from the resulting pop up menu

 4.Under Indentation, use the Special pull-down menu to select hanging

 5.Use the By menu to select 0.5"

MLA AWOL

Hi.  If anyone knows the whereabouts of the MLA Handbook from Ready Ref, please return it to the shelf.  In the meantime, I've grabbed a replacement from stacks to have at the desk. Lots of citation questions as students work to perfect their papers.

It's finally here: the culmination of much planning by GPC Librarians to help our patrons develop this essential literacy.  Angiah Davis worked hard to gather materials from the Federal Reserve, enlist speakers, and develop a collaboration among several offices at GPC to arrange an excellent program.  Please encourage students to take the free booklets and flyers that are scattered around the library. We also need your help to promote the schedule of presentations on Thursday, April 23rd in Room B2100  (second floor or the Student Center). You may even find the presentations helpful for yourself and are welcome to attend as your schedule permits.

10:05 AM - 12:05 PM "Protecting, Investing, and Saving Workshop" with Chinye Enurah of NY Life

12:05- 1:00 PM  Lunch

1:00-2:00 PM "Student Loans/Financial Aid/ Scholarships" with Carole Jones & Natasha Simpson of GPC Student Financial Services

2:00-3:00 PM "Identity Protection" with Jodel Deshommes of Wells Fargo

Students may drop in when they have time.  Lunch is provided by the Office of Student Life.
